Maybe you've got a Blood Elf friend you want to go play with, or are collecting your new Heritage armour, or just want to explore the world! Silvermoon is located at the very north of the Eastern Kingdoms continent, so you've got a little way to travel. There's a few options available to you to get there, depending on where you start from.
Steps
As of Battle For Azeroth, portals around the world have now been consolidated into the Portal Rooms, found in Orgrimmar for Horde, and Stormwind for Alliance.

Head to the Orgrimmar Portal Room. This is found under the front gate of Orgrimmar.

Go in the main gate. From the Warchief's Room, head past the Auction House and Inn, and into the main gate.Advertisement

Take the steps down to your left.

Continue into the main room for the portal to Silvermoon.
- The portal will have an image of Silvermoon inside it, as well as two Blood Elves standing outside
- You can also mouse-over the portal and check that it says 'Silvermoon' in the tooltip.
Undercity is the nearest major city to Silvermoon for the Horde, so it can sometimes be beneficial to travel there along the way. However, Undercity itself has no travel points to other Horde capitals; they're at the Zeppelin Tower in the nearby town, Brill, or for Silvermoon you're looking for the 'Orb of Translocation', which will teleport you to and from Silvermoon.

Enter the Ruins of Lordaeron, and head towards the courtyard in the center. This is the first area you enter when you pass through the gates.

Head towards the gazebo. You'll see a gazebo in the center of the courtyard. Head south towards the gazebo structure and then look to your right.
- Don't go deeper into Undercity (it's easy to get lost there) - The Orb of Translocation is found at the northern edge of the city, in the Ruins of Lordaeron.

Head right from the central gazebo in the Ruins and walk up the staircase.

Enter the chamber at the top of the stairs. You'll see the Orb of Translocation at the center of the room, and will be able to click it to teleport to Silvermoon.
- The map coordinates of the Orb are 59,67 if you are having difficulty finding it.
- You will end up in the Inner Sanctum of the Sunfury Spire in Silvermoon City. If you need to get back to Undercity, you can follow the steps in reverse.

Use the Portal Room. The Portal Room in Orgrimmar serves as the primary hub for teleports and travelling across the various continents and worlds. There is a portal to every major area from each expansion.
- You can mouse over each portal to see where they go if you don't recognise the image of the city inside the portal.

Follow a walkthrough. Your best bet for travelling to Silvermoon from exploring around the world is to head back to Orgrimmar, and then follow the first walkthrough to get to Silvermoon.

- The Mage class has access to teleports and portals - you can sometimes offer a mage a few gold to make you a Portal to Silvermoon, or if you play a mage yourself, then you can learn the Teleport spell to easily go to and from as you please.Thanks
