SharePlay is a cool feature of iPhone and Apple TV that allows you to share content from streaming services, such as Apple TV+, Netflix, Apple Music, and Disney+ over Facetime or on your Apple TV device. It also allows you to share your screen with other users. While it can be fun watching your favorite shows with friends and family, sometimes you don't want to be disturbed. Things You Should Know

  • On iPhone, open the Settings app and tap "Facetime" followed by "SharePlay." Tap the toggle switch to turn SharePlay off
  • On a Mac, open Facetime and click "Facetime" in the menu bar. Click "Settings" > "SharePlay" Uncheck "SharePlay."
  • On Apple TV, open the Settings menu and select "Users and Accounts" > "[Your username]" > "Shared with you" > turn it off.
