Making your sims sick can be a unique way to change up your gameplay experience—best of all, it’s easy to do with some simple cheat codes and the Get to Work expansion pack. We’ll walk you through some cheat-filled and cheat-free ways to make your sims ill in The Sims 4 , as well as a workaround for The Sims FreePlay .

  • Enter an “add buff” cheat to make your sims sick manually, like sims.add_buff Fever_severe .
  • Download a mod like Healthcare Redux to add more illness-related content to your game.

    Open up the cheats bar by pressing Ctrl + ⇧ Shift + C (both Mac and Windows) or by hitting all four shoulder buttons on your controller (console games).
